Free financial literacy education for OFWs through Senate Bill 1910

Senate migrant workers committee chair Raffy Tulfo is pushing Senate Bill 1910 to provide free financial literacy education to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families, calling it timely amid the Middle East crisis. The bill requires OFWs to undergo mandatory financial education during Pre-Departure Orientation Seminars and Post-Arrival Training Seminars to help them learn how to save money and manage their finances responsibly.
