4-year-old girl dies in residential fire in Talisay, Cebu

A four-year-old girl identified as Adierey Borlasa died from severe burns after a fire broke out in their home in Talisay City, Cebu on July 25, 2026, while her six-year-old cousin sustained burns on his right hand. Investigators suspect a clip fan that fell near piles of clothes may have overheated and ignited the fire, with neighbors forced to break the locked window to try to rescue the children.
