Roblox compliance requirements with Philippine government safety standards

The Philippine Department of Information and Communications Technology has given gaming platform Roblox until October 2026 to comply with five safety requirements, including establishing a local office and implementing national ID-based age verification. Three requirements have already been met: platform segmentation into Roblox Kids, Roblox Select, and Roblox; monitoring of minors' chat for sensitive topics; and default parental controls.
