Dutertes propose Ibadah-friendly hospital standards nationwide

Davao City Representatives Paolo and Omar Duterte proposed the National Ibadah-Friendly Healthcare Act to implement Islamic-accommodating hospital standards nationwide, modeled after successful practices in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. The bill requires government hospitals and rural health units to establish prayer facilities, Wudu ablution areas, Halal-certified kitchens, and other provisions respecting Islamic beliefs and practices for Muslim patients across the Philippines.
