DPWH fund utilization drops amid flood control scandal scrutiny

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) posted sluggish fund utilization of 86.2 percent as of end-July 2026, down from 94 percent a year earlier, amid heightened scrutiny over its infrastructure spending related to flood-control controversies.
