DepEd School-Based Feeding Program launches in Davao del Sur

The Department of Education officially launched the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) in Davao del Sur on July 13, 2026, serving 20,688 learners across 221 elementary schools with hot meals provided by 43 schools and 18 drop-off points. The 100-day program aims to improve learners' nutritional status and academic performance while addressing previous challenges like food fatigue through varied, nutritious weekly meal offerings.
