UPLIFT cash aid distribution expansion for vulnerable beneficiaries

The Department of Social Welfare and Development began nationwide distribution of cash aid under the expanded UPLIFT program, with beneficiaries receiving P2,000 each to support daily necessities, home repairs, and medical needs. Beneficiaries in Muntinlupa City, Binangonan (Rizal), and Marikina City reported using the assistance for food, housing repairs, and maintenance medicines as preparation for the rainy season.
